Playground + Cafe General Manager

General Manager – Run Our Entire Playground + Build an epic Café

We're opening the most fun, modern indoor playground + café in Shawnee in Spring 2026 — and we need ONE high-energy, kid-obsessed leader who wants to run the entire show (and have full creative control over an incredible little coffee program on the side).

This is a true General Manager role — not a barista job in disguise.

• Lead a team of 2-5 party hosts, cleaners, and front-desk crew
• Oversee daily operations, opening/closing, cash handling, safety checks, food safety.
• Keep the entire place spotless, safe, and fun
• Hire, train, schedule, and motivate the team
• Drive revenue — upsell parties, memberships, café items, events etc.
• Handle customer happiness (you're the person parents hug at the end of the day)

AND you get to build and run an awesome little café inside the playground:

• Full creative control — design the entire coffee + snack menu, source beans, create seasonal specials, latte art, babyccinos, whatever you dream up
• You'll jump on barista duties when it's busy or when you just feel like making drinks (we'll also have part-time baristas reporting to you)
• Turn the café into an Instagram hotspot that brings parents back even on weekdays

The perfect person:

• Loves kids like crazy and has endless energy
• Has managed or supervised people before (retail, restaurant, daycare, camp, trampoline park — anything with teams and customers)
• Real barista skills and passion (you can dial in espresso and pour pretty rosettes, but you don't want to be stuck behind the bar 40 hrs/week)
• Self-starter who sees what needs doing and just does it
• Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00pm
