HVAC Technician

Job Overview
Bay Master is seeking a dependable and skilled HVAC Technician to perform installation, service, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC system installation and replacement for residential and commercial customers
• Diagnose and repair heating and air conditioning systems
• Service and maintain split systems and rooftop units (RTUs)
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance programs
• Respond to emergency HVAC repair calls as needed
• Install, modify, and repair ductwork
• Troubleshoot thermostats and HVAC control systems
• Perform electrical and refrigeration diagnostics and repairs
• Recommend and install indoor air quality solutions
• Identify and suggest energy-efficiency upgrades
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues and solutions
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time
• Follow all safety guidelines, codes, and company procedures
• HVAC system installation and replacement

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience preferred
• EPA Section 608 Certification (required)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systems
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Comfortable working in attics, rooftops, and confined spaces

Preferred Skills

• Experience with both residential and commercial HVAC systems
• RTU service experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
