Driver / Mover

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Mover to join our team. This role involves transporting goods, assisting with moving services, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, heavy lifting, and moving operations, ensuring safe and efficient deliveries while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles, including manual transmission models, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload items using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Drive route to deliver items to customers or clients promptly and efficiently, maintaining accurate delivery documentation
• Assist customers with moving services, including packing, loading, and unloading belongings in a courteous manner
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries or pickups
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or mover, with knowledge of route driving and customer service skills
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmissions
• Experience with warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
• Physical strength for heavy lifting and moving tasks, ensuring safe handling of goods
• Strong organizational skills for route planning and load management
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., driver) and a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 50.0 per week
