Summary: Prodigy is seeking a PowerApps resource to lead efforts to complete project work for designing and implementing net-new PowerApps and expanding existing PowerApps. This resource will also contribute to advisory discussions and ad-hoc troubleshooting related to PowerApps and supporting services.

Responsibilities for Power Platform Engineer:

  • Design, implement, and oversee enterprise-scale Microsoft cloud solutions incorporating Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft 365 technologies
  • Contribute to and align with architectural standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for Power Platform and Azure integration
  • Contribute to and align with SDLC standards and best practices, including Azure DevOps
  • Contribute to agile methodologies and business analysis, including requirements gathering, estimating level of effort, sprint planning, and user testing activities
  • Contribute to Generative AI initiatives using Microsoft Foundry and Microsoft Copilot technologies to create innovative business solutions
  • Contribute to the integration of Azure OpenAI Service and other AI capabilities within custom business applications
  • Serve as an available technical resource for Prodigy's Tier III Microsoft Critical Support service as related to Power Platform and other knowledge areas

Qualifications for Power Platform Engineer

  • Expert-level knowledge in Microsoft Power Platform suite:
  • Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven)
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Dataverse
  • Power Pages
  • Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents)
  • Strong proficiency in Azure services that enhance and extend Power Platform:
  • Azure Functions
  • Logic Apps
  • API Management
  • Azure Data solutions
  • Microsoft Foundry, Azure Cognitive Services, or Azure AI Services
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • Deep experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 ecosystem:
  • Entra ID
  • Power Platform
  • SharePoint Online
  • Teams
  • Dynamics 365
  • Microsoft Graph API
  • OneDrive for Business
  • Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365
  • Technical expertise in:
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, .NET
  • Various programming languages (.NET, C#, JavaScript, etc.)
  • REST APIs, OData, Azure Functions
  • SQL Server and database design
  • Modern authentication and security patterns
  • Implementation experience with:
  • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Power Platform
  • CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and governance
  • Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit
  • Role-based security models
  • Solution architecture patterns
  • Two (2) or more relevant Microsoft certifications, such as:
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience in application development with at least 3 years leading Power Platform development projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring technical professionals
  • Proven track record of successful enterprise implementations with Microsoft technologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90, $130,000.00 per year
