Residential Construction Superintendent

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and schedule-driven Construction Project Manager to oversee various residential and light commercial construction projects including new build, additions and remodels. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction code and processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution. We are looking for an individual to join our team that cares about others and actively participates in serving others with a humble attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Utilize construction management software such as Buildertrend.
• Prepare and review construction estimates, contracts, and budgets to ensure financial accountability.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Provide finish details as necessary. Hand sketching or drafting skills are a plus.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines.
• Utilize Microsoft Teams for document management and collaboration among team members.
• Prepare reports on project status for stakeholders and provide updates on timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

• Must have a teaching and mentoring attitude and skill set.
• Proven experience in construction project management or related field.
• Proficiency in Buildertrend or similar construction management tool such as Procore or similar, that can translate.
• Strong scheduling and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills (using software, email, text and phone) for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of building code, construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Willing to jump in and get your hands dirty.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $80,000.00 per year
