Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, hand stretching dough, cooking, and food safety, with a focus on creating high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to delivering delicious, satisfying meals to our customers. Prior experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred, especially those with kitchen or culinary background. The Pizza Maker will be responsible for preparing dough, assembling toppings, baking pizzas to perfection, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough and toppings according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Assemble pizzas with fresh ingredients, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
• Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work station in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist in menu planning for new pizza varieties or specials
• Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health and safety standards
• Support team members during peak hours to ensure timely service
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needs
• Follow proper knife skills for slicing ingredients and preparing toppings

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service environment
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
• Culinary experience with a focus on pizza making or fine dining is a plus
• Strong knife skills for ingredient prep and slicing
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent attention to detail for quality control and presentation
• Experience hand stretching pizza dough
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Experience with menu planning or catering is desirable but not required
