Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this pivotal role, the ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant proven experience as an attorney in litigation, with a strong track record of successfully resolving a wide variety of civil disputes and business litigation, contract and property disputes, including employment defense. This role requires exceptional advocacy skills, a deep commitment to client service, and the ability to effectively manage complex cases.

• Manage all phases of litigation cases across diverse legal disciplines, ensuring thorough preparation and strategic execution.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and argumentation.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other litigation-related materials with clarity and precision.
• Develop case strategies by analyzing facts, laws, regulations, and precedents to advocate effectively for clients' interests.
• Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to resolve disputes amicably or to facilitate favorable settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences with professionalism and confidence.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their objectives while providing transparent updates on case progress.
• Maintain meticulous case records and manage deadlines diligently using legal administrative experience to ensure compliance with court requirements.
• Stay current on developments in firm practice areas, leveraging research skills to inform case strategies.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar in good standing is mandatory.
• 5-10 years relevant professional experience as an attorney in litigation across practice areas including civil/commercial litigation and estate planning is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis along with strong writing skills for drafting complex legal documents.
• Prior experience in a law office setting managing multiple cases simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with legal drafting standards and procedures for litigation documentation.
• Strong negotiation skills proven through successful dispute resolution outcomes.

Pay: $90, $120,000.00 per year
