Job description:

Oracle Cloud ERP Report Developer with a primary focus on supporting and enhancing reporting for core finance modules. This role centers on delivering robust, high-quality financial reports that provide actionable insights into General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and related financial operations in the ERP Cloud environment.

Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate requirements for finance-related reports addressing functions such as GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Tax Management.


• Design, build, test, and maintain financial reports utilizing BI Publisher, OTBI, and BICC reporting tools, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and real business value.


• Code and validate financial reports leveraging expert knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud finance data models, table structures, and reporting best practices.


• Ensure all deliverables align with established development standards, including version control and release management, with a specific emphasis on financial data integrity.


• Provide cross-functional technical support and mentorship to team members focused on finance modules, and act as a subject matter expert for IT Business Partners on financial reporting and processes.


• Support quarterly, legislative, and custom upgrades to core Oracle Finance modules, proactively managing any required reporting changes.


• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve finance module reporting issues and recommend continuous improvements for recurring challenges.


• Document technical specifications for finance report solutions and maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding limitations and capabilities of Oracle Financials.

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience/training.


• years hands-on technical experience developing, maintaining, and supporting reporting within Oracle Cloud ERP Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, etc.).


• Proven experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud table structures as they pertain to finance.


• Expert-level proficiency in BI Publisher, with demonstrated experience in customizing and deploying financial reports.


• In-depth knowledge of the lifecycle and compliance needs of financial reporting in ERP systems.


• Ability to provide technical support for financial data integrations and migration patterns—file and service-based.


• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, with a track record of clear and thorough documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Functional experience in Oracle ERP Finance business areas (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax).


• Familiarity with Oracle FRS, OTBI, and BICC reporting, with a focus on finance use cases.


• Prior experience with financial data extraction tools and automation (ESS job management, BICC, Bursting).


• Experience in healthcare finance/ERP environments is highly desirable.

Accountabilities:


• Serve as finance reporting technical lead, supporting recurring, ad hoc, and custom report requests for finance stakeholders.


• Analyze finance module requirements for changes, enhancements, and upgrades — prepare system designs and technical specifications tailored for financial reporting.


• Provide technical support for Oracle Finance module upgrades, ensuring continuity and integrity of business-critical finance reports.


• Mentor other developers and analysts in finance module data analysis, reporting methodologies, and Oracle best practices.


• Assist IT Business Partners in prioritizing finance module defects, enhancements, and upgrades.
