Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will oversee staff, ensure exceptional customer service, maintain food quality standards, and manage overall restaurant performance. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of food service management across various dining formats, including quick service, casual dining, fine dining, and catering. The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive team environment while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high levels of team performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory control and food management to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and hygiene.
  • Monitor shift performance, address customer concerns promptly, and resolve operational issues efficiently.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled team.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to support profitable operations.
  • Coordinate special events like banquets or catering services as needed.
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences aligned with brand standards.

Experience

  • Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings.
  • Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and culinary operations.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively, including training & development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety protocols.
  • Prior experience in hospitality management or restaurant experience with a focus on customer service excellence is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food industry trends including catering, bar management, coffee shop operations (barista experience), or hotel experience is a plus. Pay: $ $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 39.0 per week
