Weekend Dishwasher

Job Summary
Mac's Tap & Table is looking for a part time dishwasher to work Friday and Saturday nights.

More hours are possible if a proven track record of showing up.

Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient setup when needed.
• Support the catering team by handling dishware during events or banquet services.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for food service.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and uphold hygiene standards.
• Participate in routine cleaning schedules including trash disposal, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food safety practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a hygienic workspace.
• Experience with bussing tables or supporting food service operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or sanitation tools is advantageous.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
