Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Job Summary
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and strategic support to the CFO. You will go beyond calendar management to serve as a trusted partner, assisting with the preparation of financial presentations, board materials, and internal audits. The ideal candidate is hyper-organized, discreet, and comfortable navigating financial terminology and data.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support: Manage a complex and ever-changing calendar; coordinate domestic and international travel; and prepare detailed expense reports.
Financial Reporting Assistance: Assist in the preparation and proofreading of quarterly earnings reports, board slide decks, and annual budgets.
Meeting Management: Attend executive-level meetings to take minutes, track action items, and follow up with department heads to ensure deadlines are met.
Gatekeeping: Manage the CFO's inbox and phone lines, prioritizing urgent financial matters and vetting internal requests for the CFO's time.
Project Coordination: Lead or support special projects, such as preparing for audits, managing vendor contracts, or organizing investor relations events.
Confidentiality: Handle highly sensitive information including payroll data, M&A details, and strategic pivots with absolute discretion.
QualificationsRequired Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting a C-suite executive in Finance, Banking, or Fintech.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheets, P&L) and comfortable working with numbers.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint (creating professional, data-driven decks).
Communication: Elite written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface with Board Members and Investors.

Anticipatory Thinking: The ability to see "around the corner" and prepare materials before the CFO asks for them.
Resilience: Ability to remain calm and effective in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment (especially during month-end or year-end close).
Precision: An obsessive attention to detail—errors in financial documents can have significant consequences.
