Kitchen Manager

Wood Violet Recovery - part of Sunshine Behavioral Health - is a residential substance use treatment program located in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, just 45 minutes from Madison. Our mission is to help every person's addiction story end with sustainable sobriety, guided by our core values of passion, integrity, dedication, and service.

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead and support our kitchen team while ensuring a comfortable nutritional experience for our clients. This role emphasizes team leadership, operational oversight, and collaboration to meet the diverse needs of our residential program.

What You'll Do:

• Hire, train, schedule, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a positive, efficient, and accountable work environment.
• Collaborate on developing well-balanced, cost-effective menus that meet clients' dietary requirements and preferences.
• Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and timely service.
• Monitor kitchen expenses, track inventory, and order supplies to minimize waste and maintain cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all food handling, storage, and preparation follow health department regulations and facility policies.
• Work closely with facility leadership to accommodate dietary needs, special requests, and program schedules.

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Manager's Food Handler's or ServSafe Certification.
• 1-3 years of experience managing a culinary or kitchen department.
• 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience, preferably in a food service environment.
