CNA's
for all shifts.

Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAs give direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comforts needs. We look forward to meeting with you to discuss professional opportunities at our facility.

Job Responsibilities / Duties:

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents
• Ambulates and transports residents
• Records and totals fluid intake and output
• Weighs residents
• Documents activities on flow sheets
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse
• Takes and records vital signs
• Makes beds and keeps resident's units clean and in order
• Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge

Skill / Experience Requirements.
Current NY CNA Certification.

Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.
