SCOPE:

As a Service Driver, you are a critical, physical manifestation of Walters Services, Inc. to our internal and external customers. You help continue the positive customer service tone that has been set by the Call Center and Sales Department of being a company who is friendly, honest, and empathetic. You are responsible for continuing to build each customer's trust with us and to make them enthusiastic about the service they are receiving. You are to strive for customer satisfaction throughout your entire time you have with each customer. You will need to be a champion of the Walters Services, Inc. core values, core focus, and EOS model to your team and others within Walters Services, Inc. and the community at large, all while performing the normal functions and duties of a Service Driver.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete assigned route on a daily basis
  • Complete the truck's pre- and post-inspection safety log and address concerns before leaving the yard.
  • Consult/call the "site contact person" first with questions and/or directions; consult/call Field Coordinator and/or Territory Manager if on-site concerns are not resolved.
  • Complete electronic notes on your iPad in a timely manner. If there is an unusual situation, document with detailed instructions, such as the physical location of the unit.
  • Submit required paperwork or payments before leaving for the day.
  • Dispose of waste, and refill your supplies and water tank before leaving for the day.
  • Ensure you have the required supplies and water to cover your route for the day.
  • Stake down and repair units, if necessary.
  • Perform required weekly truck maintenance and repairs, and report any further concerns to the Fleet Repair Technicians.
  • Attend required meetings on time.
  • Assist your team to be more productive in their routes.
  • Build trusting relationships with members of your team in order to maintain team cohesiveness and morale.
  • Give any sales leads to the assigned sales individual for that territory.
  • Learn and become proficient in technology such as: Google Drive, Tablet/iPad Device, and other electronic systems.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested to ensure the overall success of Walters Services, Inc., such as moving equipment, cleaning, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
