Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Data Scientist to join our team. This hybrid role is based in Bethesda, MD, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. Responsibilities include performing data analysis, building predictive models leveraging large datasets, implementing machine learning algorithms, visualizing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven product development and decision-making processes. The role will also involve enhancing and maintaining existing analytics tools and predictive engines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Science, Data Analysis, and Data Analytics techniques
• Experience in Statistics and applying statistical methods to analyze complex datasets
• Expertise in Data Visualization tools and practices to present insights clearly
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and cloud platforms is an added advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
