Drive a zero-unplanned-downtime mindset

Your mission: safeguard reliability. As the Manufacturing Systems Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead a team dedicated to keeping complex production assets safe, compliant, and ready for the next shift. From planned maintenance to emergency fixes and precision calibrations, you'll set the pace for operational excellence.

How You Lead

Imagine a critical machine goes down. You coordinate diagnostics, isolate a hydraulic fault, validate PLC signals, and bring the line back within spec—while documenting the root cause and adjusting the PM plan to prevent recurrence. That's the standard you set and teach.

  • Team leadership: Direct daily activities, allocate resources, and hold technicians to schedule and quality expectations.
  • Preventive strategy: Develop and execute PM schedules that reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.
  • Advanced troubleshooting: Lead hands-on diagnosis and repair across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation domains.
  • Installations and calibration: Manage equipment installs, upgrades, and calibration programs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safety and regulatory adherence: Champion safe work practices and compliance with company, health, environmental, and safety requirements.
  • Data and documentation: Keep thorough records of work orders, inspections, and repairs to support audits and continuous learning.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify reliability risks and cost drivers; implement Kaizen-driven improvements.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Partner with production to schedule interventions that protect output.
  • Capability building: Train, mentor, and upskill technicians to strengthen the team.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification (mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance) preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing or industrial maintenance with 2+ years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
  • Technical mastery: Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; familiarity with automation and PLC troubleshooting is beneficial.
  • Diagnostic strength: Ability to rapidly resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication with technicians and leadership.
  • Physical readiness: Capable of lifting heavy loads, working in confined spaces, standing for long periods, and using industrial tools and machinery.
Preferred
  • Experience in automotive, mechanical assembly, or electronics assembly environments.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS or similar maintenance software.
