Pre K Assistant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be able to work alongside a lead teacher in a classroom setting with more than 10 students. This role involves lesson planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties

• Collaborate to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques to maintain a harmonious atmosphere.
• Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities to meet diverse learning requirements.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns regarding development or behavior.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes learning.

Requirements

• DCF 45 hour training
• Background Check
• Speaks English
• CPR certified (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
