Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and providing personalized recommendations.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events like nightclub nights.
• Use reservation management platforms such as OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements efficiently.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts.
• Support host/host responsibilities when necessary, including managing waitlists and guest seating.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.
• Experience with restaurant operations including serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, and food preparation support preferred.
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as required; nightclub experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
