Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee implementation of technology solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Conduct design and code reviews; enforce best practices across development teams.
• Act as a technical leader and mentor to developers, setting standards for software quality and architectural consistency.
• Define and maintain the current and target application architectures, identifying gaps and transition roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Develop and enforce change management, security, and application lifecycle standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies that align with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in application development.
• 5+ years of leadership experience (team lead, design lead, or architecture roles).
• Strong programming skills candidates must be able to code and will be required to complete a software proficiency exam.
• Expertise with modern cloud-based, serverless architectures and web technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile development practices and SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (preferred).
• Experience in the financial services or payments industry a plus.
