We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is fundamental to the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse and distribution center. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, stock, load, and unload materials. Ensuring the safe operation of equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work environment are top priorities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting, possess a valid forklift certification, and have a strong understanding of warehouse logistics . Physical fitness is important, as the role may involve some lifting , and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE , is essential. We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious individual who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Stock and retrieve inventory from warehouse racking.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Contribute to the smooth flow of warehouse logistics .
- Perform tasks that may include moderate lifting .
