Are you a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our growing logistics operations in Portland, Oregon. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our shipping department's success, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing RF scanners and other technology to manage inventory and track order progress. We prioritize the well-being of our employees and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment. This role requires regular Lifting of items, often up to 40 pounds, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from shelves based on order lists or scanner instructions.
- Verify product identification and quantities.
- Pack items carefully for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere strictly to Safety procedures and company policies regarding PPE and Lifting.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency in our logistics hub.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in order picking or warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
