Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a Material Handler. We are looking for dedicated individuals to ensure the smooth flow of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately. This role is fundamental to our operational success, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety. We emphasize proper Lifting techniques and expect all team members to consistently use the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). As a Material Handler, you'll contribute to a well-organized and productive warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
  • Transporting materials to and from designated areas using appropriate equipment.
  • Scanning and recording inventory data using warehouse management systems.
  • Verifying the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Properly storing materials to prevent damage and ensure easy access.
  • Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
  • Operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting guidelines.
  • Wearing all required PPE throughout your shift.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dedication to workplace Safety and following all protocols.
