Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately. This role is fundamental to our operational success, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety. We emphasize proper Lifting techniques and expect all team members to consistently use the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). As a Material Handler, you'll contribute to a well-organized and productive warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
- Transporting materials to and from designated areas using appropriate equipment.
- Scanning and recording inventory data using warehouse management systems.
- Verifying the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Properly storing materials to prevent damage and ensure easy access.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting guidelines.
- Wearing all required PPE throughout your shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dedication to workplace Safety and following all protocols.
