Join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon, as a Fulfillment Associate! We are seeking an organized and efficient individual to manage the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. In this role, you will be crucial to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will work within our warehouse environment, utilizing technology to track inventory and fulfill orders. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You will be involved in various aspects of order processing, making you an integral part of our fulfillment process.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent picking and stock checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, following all safety guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, especially those related to safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn warehouse management systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all safety procedures.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
