Join our team as a Material Handler in Detroit, Michigan! This role is vital to our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing a wide range of products. Your attention to detail and physical capability are key to maintaining smooth Logistics processes and upholding our high standards of Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and store incoming materials and supplies.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with Loading and unloading trucks, which involves frequent Lifting.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic Logistics and inventory systems is a plus.
