This role is critical for our logistics operations, focusing on accurately and swiftly gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You will utilize various tools and equipment to navigate our facility and locate the correct products. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all team members must strictly follow safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, as it involves significant and frequent Lifting, as well as constant movement. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Use scanning devices and pick lists to identify and retrieve items.
- Ensure the correct quantity and item type are picked for each order.
- Transport picked items to the packing station efficiently.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform frequent and substantial Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety standards.
- Willingness to wear and maintain PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team player attitude.
