Join our thriving logistics team in Tampa, Florida as a Forklift Operator! We are seeking skilled individuals to safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials within our warehouse. This role is vital for maintaining productivity and ensuring the accurate handling of goods. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting inventory, and assisting with general warehouse duties. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all operators must adhere to strict guidelines. If you have a valid forklift certification and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
- Ensure accurate placement and organization of inventory.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all Safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Support overall warehouse operations and logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified and experienced Forklift Operator.
- Demonstrated ability in performing tasks that involve significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling techniques.
- Understanding of Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Previous experience in a logistics or distribution setting is a plus.
