Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Oklahoma City? We are hiring! Join our fast-paced warehouse environment where you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your role is essential to the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution processes. You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load and unload trucks, transport materials, and maintain an organized stockroom. A strong commitment to safety is paramount, as is the ability to work effectively in a team setting. This position involves significant forklift operation, requiring precision and adherence to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and into racks.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Stack and arrange merchandise according to storage plan.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and accessible.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Support the overall logistics and shipping/receiving operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in logistics or distribution center environments is preferred.
