We are looking for skilled individuals to maintain and operate our warehouse equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role involves troubleshooting, performing routine maintenance, and supporting the smooth operation of our logistics processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that machinery, including conveyors and automated systems, is in excellent working condition. A strong understanding of mechanical principles and safety procedures is essential. Adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position may involve lifting and requires a good level of physical fitness. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (conveyors, sorters, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently according to established standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Support the logistics team in resolving operational challenges.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in safety training and contribute to a safety-conscious culture.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical effort, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting and working in various warehouse environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus.
