We are looking for an energetic Picker/Packer to join our San Antonio, Texas facility. This role is critical to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, gathering them according to order sheets, and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are paramount. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure a smooth workflow and uphold our commitment to Safety and quality. This is a hands-on position perfect for individuals who enjoy staying active and contributing directly to the customer experience within our Logistics chain. We provide the necessary PPE and emphasize adherence to Safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Package picked items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Stage completed orders for outgoing shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Familiarity with Logistics processes is a plus.
- Must be willing to use required PPE.
