Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for organization? We have an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Clerk in our Dallas, Texas facility. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurately documented, processed, and dispatched on time. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate shipping records. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and accuracy in our logistics operations. You will be a key player in our supply chain, ensuring our products reach our customers smoothly and without delay. We value Safety and provide the necessary PPE to ensure a secure working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare bills of lading, shipping orders, or other documentation.
- Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with shipping carriers.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners regarding shipping status.
- Identify and resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in shipping software and documentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving some Lifting.
- Knowledge of Safety protocols in a shipping environment.
- Familiarity with Logistics processes.
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE.
