Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort and store materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and stock rotation.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements and shipping schedules.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks for material movement.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots, at all times.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards to supervision immediately.
- Support the overall logistics operations by assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all lifting guidelines and safe material handling practices to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment.
- Must understand and follow all safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE.
