Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator looking for a new opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana? We are hiring! Join our state-of-the-art warehouse and play a critical role in our Logistics operations. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently moving and storing a wide variety of goods within our facility. Your expertise in operating specialized equipment, coupled with a strong commitment to Safety, is essential for our team's success. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for outbound shipment.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Participate in inventory management, including cycle counts and put-away processes.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times, ensuring personal and co-worker Safety.
- Assist with other warehouse duties and Logistics tasks as needed to support the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck is required.
- Valid reach truck certification or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as operational needs dictate.
