Become a key player in our fast-paced Distribution Center as a Distribution Center Associate in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, involving a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and preparing shipments, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, efficient, and committed to upholding our high standards for quality and safety. This position offers a stable work environment with opportunities for growth within the logistics sector. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial, but we are willing to train motivated candidates. Emphasis is placed on adherence to safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE. Frequent lifting is an expected part of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, organize, and move inventory within the distribution center.
- Accurately pick and pack items for outbound shipments.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workspace.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Wear assigned PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves, as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a distribution or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Capability for significant lifting and manual dexterity.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is advantageous.
