Utility/Dishwasher

Job Overview:

As a Dishwasher in our hospitality establishment, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen and ensuring smooth operations during food preparation and service. You will work closely with the kitchen team to uphold high-quality standards and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties:

• Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and other kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashers or by hand as needed.
• Ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized according to food safety regulations.
• Organize and store clean dishes appropriately, keeping kitchen areas tidy and well-maintained.
• Maintain a clean restroom
• Take garbage and cardboard out to the compactor
• Collaborate with cooks and chefs to facilitate a smooth flow of kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a hygienic work environment.

Skills:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, hotel, or banquet setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues in a dynamic kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and commitment to upholding cleanliness standards.
• Flexibility to assist in various tasks as needed to support overall kitchen operations.
