Project Manager/Estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to lead construction projects from initial conception through completion. This role combines estimating with project management skills to ensure accurate cost projections, efficient scheduling, and seamless execution. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a passion for delivering high-quality construction solutions. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive projects forward while maintaining strict adherence to budgets, timelines, and safety standards.

Duties

• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to ensure timely completion of all phases
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to establish scope of work and identify potential challenges early in the planning process
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align project objectives and facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project budgets by monitoring expenses, reviewing change orders, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety
• Oversee construction site activities ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications
• Utilize construction management software for tracking progress, updating schedules, and maintaining detailed documentation of all project activities

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating combined with project management responsibilities in a commercial or civil construction environment
• Demonstrated ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Hands-on construction site experience with a solid understanding of field operations and safety procedures
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with contracts, change order processes, and legal aspects of construction projects
• Prior experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects is highly desirable
