Masonry Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Masonry Worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various masonry techniques, including concrete forming, rebar installation, and finishing. This role involves working on diverse projects such as commercial, residential, and restoration sites, utilizing a range of hand and power tools. The Masonry Worker will contribute to building durable structures while adhering to safety standards and blueprints. Candidates with a strong background in construction site experience and proficiency in reading schematics are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and restore structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
• Install rebar and formwork for concrete pours in accordance with specifications
• Perform concrete finishing, plastering, stucco application, and caulking as needed
• Execute trim carpentry, metal stud framing, tile laying, roofing, and other related tasks for renovation projects
• Assist in the operation of heavy equipment for material handling and site preparation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and site regulations
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope

Requirements

• Proven experience in masonry work or related construction fields with knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, and finishing techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols
• Experience with restoration work, renovation projects, or specialized skills like welding or roofing is a plus
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
• Valid (or equivalent) certification/license if applicable
• Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of various building materials is preferred
