Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites and during remodeling projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete installations and repairs
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber with a valid license or certification demonstrating completion of apprenticeship or equivalent training
• Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing practices, schematics, blueprints reading, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, remodeling processes, maintenance procedures, and field service operations
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required on construction sites
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship
• Valid commercial driver's license is a plus for transporting materials or traveling between job sites
