We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clinics in Oakland and San Leandro. This leadership role is pivotal in cultivating a positive, customer service–oriented culture, ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement across both clinical and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Culture Building: Recruit, train, and mentor clinical and administrative staff; foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient experience and staff engagement. Lead and optimize the use of EPIC EMR across clinical and administrative teams, ensuring efficient workflows and comprehensive staff training.
Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling, billing, inventory, and facility maintenance; implement efficient workflows and best practices.
Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets; oversee revenue cycle processes; monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
Payroll Management: Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA; maintain up-to-date policies and procedures.
Patient Relations: Address patient inquiries and concerns; implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and service quality.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop business strategies and goals; analyze practice performance and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration,Business Management, or a related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of healthcare management or administrative experience, with a preference for urgent care settings, demonstrating proven leadership in operational oversight and team management
Extensive experience with EPIC EMR, including system management, staff training, and workflow optimization
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in healthcare management software (specifically EPIC EMR), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications: Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or similar credentials are preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85, $115,000.00 per year
