We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards of excellence. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to create delicious meals that meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
• Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

• Proven experience in meal preparation within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with kitchen tools, including knives, cooking equipment, and appliances.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in a busy kitchen setting.
• Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other staff members.
