Join our vibrant senior living community and become an essential part of our residents' dining and social experience We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Part-Time Bartender who enjoys engaging with people and providing exceptional hospitality. In this role, you will do more than just serve drinks; you will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere in our lounge and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (cocktails, wine, beer, etc.) to residents and guests in accordance with recipes and proper serving techniques.
• Provide outstanding customer service, greeting all residents and guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, using a point-of-sale (POS) system, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar and lounge area at all times, including polishing glassware and clearing tables.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, prepare garnishes, and submit orders for needed items to the Food and Beverage Director.
• Adhere to all state and local laws and regulations concerning the sale and service of alcohol, including checking identification when necessary.
• Communicate resident feedback, including likes and dislikes, to management to ensure satisfaction and help with menu planning.
• Assist with the setup and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous bartending or customer service experience, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or club setting, is highly preferred.
• A genuine interest in working with and making a difference in the lives of senior residents.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sanitary practices and adherence to all food safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/move objects weighing up to 40-50 pounds.
• A flexible schedule is required, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
