Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or commercial facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of cleaning protocols, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring quality service, and coordinating cleaning activities to deliver an exceptional guest or client experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning, floor care, and custodial tasks.
• Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in accordance with company policies.
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Implement health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and janitorial services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services, preferably within a hospitality or hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, industrial cleaning methods, and general housekeeping practices.
• Experience in housekeeper management or supervisory roles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications in cleaning or hospitality management are a plus but not required.
