Sushi Helper/Food Prep

Duties:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of a chef or cook.
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Handle and store food products in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in setting up serving stations and replenishing food items as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service.
• Assist in cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

Skills:

• Experience in food service or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to interact with other staff members and customers.

Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. Training will be provided on proper knife handling techniques and other necessary skills.
