Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide protection for residents and property within a community setting. This role involves conducting foot patrols to detect, report, and deter unauthorized activity, responding promptly to alarms and emergency situations, maintaining a visible presence to discourage criminal activity, and enforcing site security policies. Officers may also collaborate with local law enforcement as needed. Success in this position requires strong conflict management skills, excellent communication, vigilance, and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while working independently.

Requirements

• Must have an active Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Registration.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Must have a working email and cell phone.
• Must maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
