Job Summary

The Host/Hostess at MacArthur Park is the first and last point of contact for all guests. You will set a welcoming and positive tone for the entire dining experience.

The Host/Hostess is responsible for the efficient and gracious management of the front-of-house, ensuring a smooth flow of service. This includes managing the reservation system, coordinating seating, and providing high-level customer service that reflects our commitment to quality and hospitality.

Requirements:

• Tuesday to Saturday 4:15pm-9:00pm
• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work all major holidays
• Customer service.
• Professional appearance
• Knowledge of Open Table Reservation Systems (preferred)
• Knowledge of Toast POS (preferred)

Essential Functions:

• Manage Open table Reservations
• Monitor the number of guests entering/exiting the restaurant
• Accommodate special needs of the guests.
• Inspect dining room service stations for neatness/cleanliness
• Assist servers in bringing water to guests, bussing tables
• Set/re-set tables with place settings
