Overview

Supports the development and execution of data governance practices to ensure data quality and accessibility across asset management, operations, engineering, and compliance teams. Acts as a key liaison to promote consistent data standards and stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data governance best practices and frameworks.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability with business and technical teams.
• Lead data quality efforts including profiling, cleansing, and remediation for pipeline asset data.
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, lineage, and governance documentation.
• Manage governance processes and digital workspaces (SharePoint).
• Facilitate data governance awareness sessions and cross-functional working groups.
• Track and report on data governance metrics and control effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Engineering, CS, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years in data governance or data management, ideally in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality tools, and pipeline regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with pipeline asset systems, GIS, or records platforms.
• SharePoint design/management, PowerApps, and PowerBI.
• Understanding of MDM concepts and asset-centric data practices.
• Excellent attention to detail in safety-critical data environments.
