Position Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at our Strongsville, OH facility. This role is essential for ensuring accurate, timely shipments and receipts while maintaining compliance with company standards.

In addition to overseeing shipping, receiving, replenishment, and put-away activities, this role is also responsible for managing the Repack Department, which is critical for breaking down large wholesale quantities into smaller, customer-ready units to meet order requirements. The Supervisor will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards across all warehouse functions while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The Supervisor will manage 12-16 direct reports, including 1-2 Lead Persons, and additional team members during peak periods. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate both warehouse operations and the repack department, ensuring these areas work seamlessly together to achieve timely, accurate shipping, receiving, replenishment, put-away, and the efficient breakdown of bulk products into customer-ready quantities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and update records in the system.
  • Train and coach team members on safety, quality, and productivity standards. Hold the team responsible to meet operational requirements.
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments regarding shipment schedules and issues.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, including safety and operational procedures.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Essentials Functions

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, replenishment, put-away, and repack operations.
  • Oversee and support the Repack Lead and Repack Department, ensuring accurate breakdown of bulk quantities into customer-ready units.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation, cycle counts, and system updates in NetSuite ERP and ShipHawk WMS
  • Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups for timely shipments.
  • Utilize WMS scan devices and perform all necessary computer functions for tracking and labeling.
  • Delegate tasks, monitor workflow, and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, associate degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification preferred).
  • Experience with WMS systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing, lifting, and walking.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
