In the role of Senior Manager, Maintenance, you will:
Lead all aspects of all packaging maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operation.
Develop and implement the maintenance strategy for transitioning to future manufacturing sites.
Lead and develop maintenance professionals, encouraging skill growth and engagement.
Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Collaborate with Engineering and Global Maintenance colleagues to implement global standards for equipment and automation.
Partner with Operations, Facilities, and QEHS teams to align maintenance priorities with production goals.
Build organizational capability to support future technologies, including robotics and automated systems.

The Maintenance function ensures reliable operation, upkeep, and continuous improvement of packaging production equipment across LEGO Manufacturing Virginia. This includes mechanical, electrical, and automation systems crucial for meeting safety, quality, and delivery standards. The department is currently responsible for maintaining equipment reliability and efficiency in existing operations while preparing for the future transition to a highly automated manufacturing environment at the new LEGO Group facility. Maintenance plays a key role in building the technical foundation, processes, and team.
The Maintenance Senior Manager provides strategic and hands-on leadership for the site's maintenance organization, ensuring equipment reliability, operational uptime, and readiness for future automation and technology integration. This role is responsible for building a proactive maintenance culture that drives safety, reliability, and continuous improvement across all systems and teams. The Senior Manager will play a meaningful role in crafting the future-state maintenance structure and aligning current operations with global standards and protocols. This position requires both strategic foresight and direct operational engagement — leading teams on the shop floor while influencing the development, readiness, and long-term strategy for maintenance within LEGO Manufacturing Virginia.
Progressive experience in maintenance or engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.
Leadership experience managing teams in a high-volume, multi-shift operation.
Proven success in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Proven experience supporting site expansions, capital projects, or new equipment commissioning.
Skilled in root cause analysis, reliability engineering, and data-driven decision making with proficiency in CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools.
Advanced education in engineering, maintenance management, or related field is highly desired.
Relocation will be provided
Some international and domestic travel will be required.
Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $124, $186,292.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
