Armed/Unarmed Security Officer

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible presence on site at all times
• Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the property
• Conduct foot patrols and perimeter checks as directed
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or safety hazards
• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Respond quickly to alarms, disturbances, or requests for assistance
• Enforce site policies and procedures in a calm and professional manner
• Provide courteous assistance to tenants, residents, and visitors
• Maintain full uniform standards and professional appearance

Experience and Requirements

• Valid California Guard Card (required)
• At least 2 years of prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must pass background and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
