We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assisted Living Administrator to lead our senior care community with enthusiasm and dedication. Duties
- Lead the overall operation of the assisted living community, ensuring smooth daily functioning and high standards of care
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents' needs, including memory care and dementia-specific programs
- Supervise and support staff members across various roles, including nursing, caregiving, social work, and administrative personnel
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency and sustainability
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to assisted living, nursing home standards, and long-term care facilities
- Foster positive relationships with residents' families by providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly
- Coordinate with healthcare providers for resident health assessments, medical appointments, and emergency responses
- Promote a safe environment by implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and managing incident reports
- Lead community engagement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and build a vibrant community atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with a focus on senior care or long-term care settings
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in healthcare or residential care environments
- Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care programs, and developing specialized care plans
- Familiarity with operations management including budgeting, financial acumen, and resource planning
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community care settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and compliance standards in healthcare facilities
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with residents' families, staff members, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies
- Ability to navigate regulatory requirements related to assisted living communities effectively
- Passion for providing compassionate senior care that enhances residents' quality of life
