Assisted living Manager/Administrator

Duties

• Lead the overall operation of the assisted living community, ensuring smooth daily functioning and high standards of care
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents' needs, including memory care and dementia-specific programs
• Supervise and support staff members across various roles, including nursing, caregiving, social work, and administrative personnel
• Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency and sustainability
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to assisted living, nursing home standards, and long-term care facilities
• Foster positive relationships with residents' families by providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly
• Coordinate with healthcare providers for resident health assessments, medical appointments, and emergency responses
• Promote a safe environment by implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and managing incident reports
• Lead community engagement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and build a vibrant community atmosphere

Requirements

• Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with a focus on senior care or long-term care settings
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in healthcare or residential care environments
• Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care programs, and developing specialized care plans
• Familiarity with operations management including budgeting, financial acumen, and resource planning
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community care settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and compliance standards in healthcare facilities
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with residents' families, staff members, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies
• Ability to navigate regulatory requirements related to assisted living communities effectively

Pay: $42, $60,000.00 per year
