Full Stack Developer

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at our rapidly scaling AI-driven video production studio, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing the core technology that powers next-generation content creation. You'll architect and develop robust, scalable web applications and backend systems that integrate advanced AI models, real-time video processing, and cloud infrastructure. This role combines hands-on coding with strategic input, ensuring seamless user experiences and high-performance platforms that enable creators and brands to produce dynamic video content at scale.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable full stack applications, with a focus on robust backend systems using Python frameworks (e.g., Fast API) to support AI-driven video production.

• Break down complex AI production challenges into modular, maintainable systems for video content generation, processing, and optimization.

• Integrate AI/ML models (e.g., fine-tuned image/video models, generation APIs, proprietary workflows) into production pipelines for video and image rendering.

• Mentor junior team members and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineers to build full applications and streamline AI content workflows.

• Optimize performance/scalability for high-volume video processing and troubleshoot real-time production issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years full stack development; 2+ years focused on AI production or ML applications.

• Strong backend Python (Flask/Fast API/Django) with scalable APIs/services.

• Secondary frontend skills in modern frameworks (Svelte, React) for AI tool interfaces.

• Hands-on integration of AI/ML models into production, especially creative media/video.

• Proven modular system design and independent problem-solving.

• Experience mentoring and implementing best practices.

• U.S. time-zone alignment; strong communication in a fast-paced, distributed team.

Preferred Skills

• Video tools/libraries (FFmpeg, OpenCV) and/or cloud rendering services.

• AWS/GCP/Azure for scalable AI deployments.

• DevOps (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Creative industry, AI-generated content, or enterprise e-commerce experience.

• Track record building products/tools from scratch.
